Technical Specifications

When booking our holiday homes it is necessary to provide personal data such as your surname, your first name, your full address and your e-mail address. For the payment it is necessary to enter payment information such as credit card data or similar.

Bookings are made via Checkfront’s external booking system. Checkfront provides the online e-commerce platform for booking our holiday homes. Your booking data is stored by Checkfront on their data memories, in databases and within the Checkfront application on secure systems. Checkfront is a provider based in Canada. Payment for holiday homes booked through our website is made through Braintree’s external payment system, which is linked to Checkfront and our website. Braintree is a payment provider based in the US. For more information, see the data privacy of Braintree.

Comments

When visitors write comments on the website, we also collect the information displayed in the comment form, the visitor’s IP address and the user agent string (which identifies the browser) to help detect spam.

An anonymized string (also called a hash) can be created from your email address and sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. How long we store your data
